When I was a little girl, my favorite time of the year was summertime. I'd look forward to the cookouts, swimming parties, and wearing shorts and tank tops. I think of how much fun Jet and Kimber are having now that they are back home with the extended family and have made friends at their school. Tonight, their sweet Auntie Mal & Granmma Tora set up the water hose for them to run through while we had chicken on the grill.We have a busy summer ahead of us. Jay is taking 12 hours this summer. Jet & Kimber will be at camp during the days, which begins tomorrow. I will be in the rat lab, and I'm observing & assisting in several surgeries next week. Tomorrow, June 1st is my Dad's birthday, I baked a cake with a guitar on it that looks pretty good. June 2nd is my cousin Eric's birthday. On June 3rd, Kimber Elle turns 3 years old, and we're having a birthday party for the little sweetheart on Sunday. It's supposed to be 103 degrees for her party, so we're starting it off with a hot one. There will be plenty of ice pops, watermelon and frozen drinks. Here are photos of Jet and Kimber.
