My Birthday Present...To Myself

I've made a decision. My habits haven't been the same since I got pregnant with Jet, and it's time to fix that for good. For almost 5 years, I've been out of my comfort zone. I've decided that since I'm not getting any younger, I need to start surrendering to my body's desire to consume natural, nutrient-filled foods, engage in generous amounts of daily exercise, and receive plenty of rest. My hope is that the result is more energy, better sleep, lasting health benefits, and the side-effect of being more comforable in my skin.

Putting this into a blog is scary for me. I think that now that I've not only said it to myself, but now put it out on the internet, I need to follow-through. Accountability. But, I've thought of others who've inspired me - women who are moms and have made these same decisions for themselves. A couple of them are celebrities...

Here is a picture of an amazing personal trainer who's inspired me that I worked with in Utah. This is a picture of her after she had her daughter.

Also, I found the website http://www.removingmyfatsuit.com/. I follow along with Gayle's progress. I find her story & progress inspiring.

Jet's Way

This is Jet's way of protecting
his little sister while she's napping
on the floor.

Hair

I love Jet's hair when it's kept a little long. He's adorable. So, it pains me to have it cut each time that we go. Here are some pics from a recent haircut.

Birthday Pics

Kimber got a pretty pink Barbie Jeep from her daddy
for her 2nd birthday. Jet's showing her how to operate it.

Kimber loved this jewelry box from her Grandma Tora.

Baby Girl

Jason took this picture of Kimber Elle today, and I had to share it. Doesn't she look like her grandpops Breezy here? Now that Jet is in pre-school two days a week, Kimber has had more one-on-one time with her Daddy. They're becoming good buddies.
